Beach Shell 1
This seashell was on the beach down by the surf during sunrise. The shell itself was broken but the jagged edge adds some character.
The early morning sunrise wasn't too cooperative during my trip, but I was able to salvage something.
A second day of attempting to get a sunrise yielded even worse results. This was shot just as dawn was breaking.
Wave Crash 1
Waves crashing against the minimal amount of color the sunrise gave.
Beach Shell 2
I really enjoy the texture on this shell, it was a lot different than most of what washed up.
Wave Crash 2
I took a ton of pictures at different speeds and like this the best (1/30). The waves weren't particularly high, but this shot captures the energy.
Lauren walking along the beach, which was really as hard as concrete close to the water.
This was one of the first pictures I took during the sunrise and it yielded a nice streak of color.
Beach Shell 3
Another seashell I found during the early sunrise.
Before dawn the sky is just starting to turn and the foreground with beach grass remains dark.
A look up the Hilton Head beach during the sunrise.
Dark Beach Sunrise
Similar to the other beach sunrise, but on a day when there wasn't much cooperation from the sun.
Stephanie and Vince
My in-laws strolling along the beach during the morning.
Another Coastal Sunrise
How many of these did I post?
Wave Crash 3
A bit of a wider angle of some waves along the shore.

The oldest standing building in Georgia, this was once a famous hangout for pirates and people of questionable character.
Max the pit bull was keeping a vigilant eye on the entrance of his shop. He was such a cool and laid back dog.
The Waving Girl
Florence Martus was the unofficial greater of ships into the Savannah port from 1887 to 1931, this statue was made in her honor down by the river.
The yachting events for the 1996 Olympics were actually held in Savannah, not Atlanta, and this torch was lit as part of the event.
This street runs along the river and has tons of shopping and dining. It's partly cobbled and one way, making a slow and bumpy ride.
Independent Presbyterian Church
Savannah has tons of historical churches with incredible architecture.
Savannah House 1
No cool story with this other than our tour bus was stopped in front of this house in the Victorian District.
